Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Chemical Technologist in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Perform routine analytical analysis on a variety of samples and material by chemical, physical, instrumental and radiochemical methods, using a variety of analytical instrumentation and equipment (to include but not limited to Alpha Energy Analysis (AEA), Gamma Energy Analysis (GEA), Non Destructive Analysis (NDA), Gas Chromatography (GC), Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GCMS), Ion Chromatography (IC), Inductive Coupled Plasma (ICP), ICP plus Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS) and x-ray and the reporting of generated lab data. Performassignments of diverse, specialized and complex nature requiring the full knowledge of the analytical laboratory techniques and procedures. May direct the activities of others, and give on-the-job training to less experienced personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:

Hourly Wage Range
$25.651- $51.296
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
